Welcome to your summer home!

Camp Uncommon is hosted at Camp Powhatan, a beautiful and expansive facility in Otisfield, Maine, providing campers with an unforgettable summer experience immersed in nature. The camp features a diverse range of indoor and outdoor spaces designed to foster adventure, creativity, and community.

Nestled in a scenic woodland setting, Camp Powhatan boasts a pristine lakefront with designated swimming areas, canoeing and kayaking coves, and boat docks for water activities. The campgrounds include sports fields for soccer, football, and baseball, multiple courts for basketball, volleyball, and tennis, as well as a Gaga Ball pit, street hockey court, and a zip line with group challenge elements to promote teamwork and confidence.

For artistic and educational pursuits, the camp offers a renovated art studio, theater space, music room, and nature exploration areas. The Field House and Big Hall serve as spacious indoor activity spaces, hosting sports, performances, and all-camp gatherings.

Campers live in bunk-style housing, fostering a strong sense of community with their fellow campers and counselors. The dining facilities provide a welcoming space for campers to enjoy their meals, with fresh, high-quality food prepared by our food service partner, WOLFoods.

Campers travel to Camp Uncommon via luxury bus, with pick-up locations in each Uncommon Schools city. Details on exact pick-up locations will be shared at Family Information Sessions.
